I wear uk size 16 from Dorothy Perkins, and in Japan my size is about size 17/19.
I don't wanna buy clothing from Isetan, Mitsukoshi and Takashimaya anymore, cos it's very expensive. Would like to save money, if possible.

i am not sure how large you say plus size is. "eruza" in ueno ABAB 3st floor have clothing in up to 21gou size,"miharu"in ooimati ito-yokado 3F have 13gou-17gou size http://www.l-miharu.com/.
if you read japanese, nissen has catalog called "smile land" for L to 10L in reasonable price.

google "大きいサイズ" there are many online shops for LL to 4L or bigger than 4L.

Unfortunately I don't think you are realistically going to find anything in larger sizes outside of the better department stores. Japanese women as a whole are shorter and much more slender than Western women, and in most stores that I visited, women's clothing was closer in cut and construction to Junior sizes in the US.

I found one store that stocked "queen sizes" while I was in Nara, but it was expensive.

Plus sized boots for 1000-8000¥? Not going to happen in Japan....and Isetan, Mitsukoshi (esp. in Ginza, forget cheap), and Matsuzakaya usually start out their cheaper boots in any range at ¥8000. So, you're better ordering from whatever country you came from.

It depends on what you mean by extra large - do you mean by Japanese standards, European standards, or American standards?

By Japanese standards, Aeon department stores often have a larger women's section - they've changed the name, I had trouble finding it, but if you have problems you can always ask. They had MY size - I take the smallest size in the 'larger' section, but by American standards that's not large! I'm not sure how big they actually get, but I'd recommend checking out your nearest Aeon to see what they've got! Boots, forget it! I've given up looking for boots here. : (

If you can find imported boots, they'll be at imported / inflated prices.

However, if you're talking about men's wear ... you don't actually specify ... you might find larger items in 'jeans' shops. I'm sure you've seen a couple around, they have a 'giant' pair of jeans on display outside, with a sign saying that they sell larger clothing. I don't know how 'large' THEY stock clothes either, but you normally see these places in the busier / larger towns around the Tokyo area.

I've heard of women who buy men's boots actually, but they'd probably be too wide!

Without playing games, don’t be available 100% of the time or let your life be an open book. A man that comes on too strong or doesn’t have outside interests will scare a woman away just as much as it would if the circumstances were reversed. Read here http://AttractAnyWoman.emuy.info/?dnK4

Women don’t want to feel as though they are completely responsible for your happiness and that is what it feels like when the other person has no outside interests. Men who are overeager or jump when the woman says jump are the ones who are more likely to end up in the friend zone. This doesn’t mean that you should play the game of not calling for a few days; it means that you should set healthy boundaries until you both naturally find a spot for the other in your lives.

Probably no-where. Fewer than 10% of Japanese women are over-weight.So there's very little demand for plus sizes. I have a friend there who's 5' 6" and 105 pounds. And she has a very hard time finding anything that fits because she has long legs.

Try and store called UNIGLO - its like an Old Navy. They alter clothes for free right in the store. You can get shirts and pants for Y1500-Y5000.

there are not many options for the 'plus sized' people. I noticed that the more 'bigger' people (not just fat but tall too) wore the same things alot of the time. This is probably due tot he fact that they have less to choose from. So many people could just go shopping from the children's section - scary!
