Thanks for the answers so far. I will be driving through Utah, Colorado & Nebraska on my way to Ohio the 3rd week of January & all these storms are making me a little nervous. I'm hoping the weather will get better.

I am going to answer this like most meteorologists do
it seems if the temperature stays cold it will snow instead of raining,
and if ti stays cold, the snow will not melt, but if the temperature raised then you could anticipate the snow melting some...
and most likely the month of January will be much colder than the past months have been, this I can say with about a 40-60 . 60 percent chance of it staying colder now than months past
so there you have it all

Getting better already. Storm's past. Just move the snow, and wait for a warm front. Should be fine soon.

Nope, not every time quickly. Why? religious fanaticism. as long through fact the inhabitants keeps to have faith the hyperbole of the 'infidels' would be blamed for all their problems, ain't not something gonna substitute.

i hope for their sakes it does get better..they need a break..hopefully january will bring a bit of warmth to them to melt some of the snow away...

It is Colorado--it will snow more. That is what it does best in Colorado.
