Well i got this computer about 6 months ago, when i loaded in xp for some reason the sound would not play. After a few disappointing efforts to fix it i finnaly got a hold of someone through customer service and they sent me to a site that competly fixed my problem. then stupid me i tried to clean out my hard drive and i think i erased it again. please help me i think i have real something?

I assume your on Win XP.
Go to control panel/system/hardware/device manager.
You should see a yellow exclamation mark on your audio, right click, update driver.
You should also download Sandra Lite, it gives you detailed info on all installed hardware making it alot easier to know what you got installed and know where to find your drivers.
