i have done everything to my intake on my truck a granatelli mass air flow k/n cold air filter and a 80 mm thotle body and i all so have short type headers and hytech programmer runs great but engine light is on and the code is showing lean air mixters on both engine banks is there a way to fix this or is ok to run it this way?

your computer is calling for more fuel...have it re-programmed to go along with yuor modifications...hopefully you know someone who is good at it, as it cost allot to have it done!!!...easy enough fix...i would run it, but have it done asap

I have experienced upper intake gaskets leaking on these engines. Does it run rough when it's cold and slowly smooth out once it has warmed up. If so, then it might be the upper intake (also sometimes the plenum) gaskets leaking. This results in a lean condition due to a vacuum leak.

This is what happends when you modify something this new that has a computer... they really dont like to be messed with. You can get it reprogramed if it is a computer problem but then again it may never work right again, until you revert back to the stock system. Sometimes upgrades and modifications just wont agree.
