you see i want to have this rock band and noone wants to join in it because they don't take me seriously or they are already in a band. i need some advice.

if you truly think that you can actually start your own thing, who cares what others say. if you truly want this, go for it!!!! i have friends in garage bands (they suck ) but who cares?????????

First, you need a sick bass player. Every band needs bass. Finding a good bass player is a lot harder because bass is just not as popular. Once you have a good bass player, everything will fall into place. Without a bass player, you will have nothing.
The second thing you need is a good drummer. A good drummer is actually a little harder to find because a lot of people think they can play well, but few can. I've noticed that these two pieces are what everyone lacks. A good guitar player is not particularly hard to find.
If you want people to think that you are serious about it, start writing songs and showing them the lyrics when you ask them about being in your band. If you play an instrument, maybe give them a recording of how the music is supposed to go.

I've had the same experience. If you are female and have a great voice then there should be no problem for you either getting into a band or starting one. Just ignore the people who don't take you seriously and persevere. It is the only way.
The most sought after people for bands are:-
female vocalisits
drummers
bass players
...and in that order I believe.

Are you good? If so, make sure they hear you! Play on the street corner, play at church, school. Get heard!!! Put out flyers, or ads in the paper. Don't give up on your dream without giving it your best shot!!!

do wat u can by urself dont pay them no attention cuz wen u make it big theyll wanna be in ur group. u gotta prove them wrong
