I have a friend who works in a restaurant and she needs a shoe that is working against slippery surfaces so that she won;t fall off when there is water on the floor. Any kind of good ideas please?

I have American Eagle shoes that have ridged, flat soles and they aren't ugly. They will prevent falls. ;)

Tennis shoes work well and would be comfortable. If those are not an option, I would look for a good work shoe with a rubber sole that is textures and has a good grip.
