i took a laxative to cleanse my stomach because i havent been doing good stomach wise, but my mom says i shouldnt eat, but i'm really hungry, probably because i drank the laxative on an empty stomach. but is it bad too eat after the way my mom says?

You can eat whenever you want when you take a laxatives. Ive been prescribed laxatives and also have had colonscopys and such and been to a gastronologist. if your getting constipated your best bet is to drink 8 glasses of water a day .take a fiber supplement and eat more beans and dark green vegetables. dont take laxatives but maybe every other month because your body can get addicted to them.

Yes you can eat.... but instead of eating heavy foods, you could drink soup or eat something very light. You should also drink some fruit juice or tea as well
