I think I always forgive them, but that does not mean that the former level of trust between us is still there. And in many cases, it has completely disappeared. I have reached out an olive branch myself -- and have been told there are certain things I must do to reinstate the former friendship -- when someone puts rediculous limitations like this on healing a friendship, I end the friendship right then and there. My life is enriched by people who support me and validate me; I have no need for those who are overly controlling like this.

My father did not want me and paid my mother child support religiously for 22 years but never once tried to see me or contact me. And he went on to have his own family with 3 children and still never felt the need to see his firstborn. That I can never forgive him for and never will.

you are justified. What if they needed forgiveness? What if they were really sorry and they never have a chance to show it? Where is mercy? Is it only by divine providence? Let mercy have a chance. And where is hope? Why not hope? We all need help.

BETRAY! When someone you trust hurt you or betray any relationship you may had with them. It will be so difficult to forgive them and even believe in he or she again. Trust is so powerful to me. Never live with out it.

Harming a child. Child molesters and abusers are unforgivable in my opinion. Molesters should get the death penalty or at the very least never leave prison.
