ok i was wondering if i got a video card for my desktop pc, that required 350watts. Would it run stable with my 300watt psu??

You could do it, the only problem would be the fact that it wouldn't run to it's fullest potential and would run somewhat unstable. There are times when it would be just fine, and others when you won't see anything. I'd invest in a larger Power Supply Unit if I were you.

When the card manufacturer lists the power requirement, they leave themselves some cushion, plus they also try to guess how much power the rest of your system is using. So the answer is, maybe, you are taking a risk but it will most likely work, but no guarantees.

NOOOOOOO!!!!! ok, do the math: 350>300. example, this would be like going about trying to pull a 26' boat with a Toyota Corrolla
