Okay, so this poem is in southern vernacular. It's really just something I wrote, but I want to know what people think.
Note: I realize that things are misspelled (i.e. 'ya'). It's supposed to be that way : )
Don’t worry now baby
Ya can run along the gardens till that watch stops tickin’
Ya can hold that little puppy and feed him and play
I won’t take anythin’ away
When ya grow ol’ just remember
Momma’s Gotcha
Every Bit
When ya stumble and fall
Catch those rainbows, catch’em all
Never doubt what I see
You are my heart, my boy, my baby
So when they tell ya that ya life ain’t worth nuttin'
Don’t ya listen to a word
Plug ya ears with eyes shut tight
Momma wants ya and she gotcha
Every bit
