I have been to TJ's and they blow Taco Bell out of the water IMO. If I'm not mistaken I believe they originated in Missouri and have branched out throughout the US. But if you want a nice fresh Taco this is the place to go!

Absolutely!
I live in Frankfort Ky. and we have two of their restaurants within about 6 or 7 miles of one another.
Blows Taco Bell, as well as all "burger" places outta the water!!!

Taco Burger with sour cream! Bomb!
Cinnamon Churros. Bomb
Chaco Taco. Bomb.
Potato Ole's Bravo. Ultra Bomb!!

There are a couple in Louisville also.

Nope,

In December 2006, a reported 50 people became sick and 18 people were hospitalized after eating at a Taco John's restaurant in Cedar Falls, Iowa. Shortly after that, Minnesota health officials reported that an additional 27 people became ill after eating at Taco John's restaurants in Albert Lea and Austin.

no, but it reminded me of an experience i had in a taco place. i was ordering at the counter and the guy who made the tacos left the counter and went into a little tiny bathroom directly behind him. when he opened the door i could see the 3 walls. the toilet was on the left and there was NO sink in there! he came back out and continued making my order. i threw it in the garbage can when i got outside. the name taco johns would have been a good name for that place
