Than normal? I weigh 140lbs and I am 15 years old. I am 5foot- 5inches tall. I Squat 600 lbs, Bench 350lbs, and deadlift 460lbs. Would that be enough to be considered "superhuman"?

I shouldn't answer this one....like one person already put it, no need to feed an *ego trip* here. But...you're not giving enough info here.

--Do you have *pictures* at least, showing you can do this stuff? You know when Pat Robertson--of all people--got in the press lately boasting about his Leg Press, at least he had the decency to show pictures of him *doing it*. Links please.

--We need more details of your lifting conditions. Sets, repetitions, whether your lifts are free weights or machine-assisted, and so on...it's one thing to do a squat a few inches at a time *up* a Smith Machine, another to actually do the thing naturally in *one motion*. Like you're supposed to.

--Finally....can you *apply* your strength in conditions *outside* the weight room? Do you routinely help your mother and sisters move furniture around, for example? Have you ever lost an arm wrestling match? How about pickle jars? *lol* I know it sounds silly, but yeah, being able to use the strength you have is way more important than any Numbers Games you can play in the weight room.

Assuming you can back all of this up...where do you live? I'm curious because there *was* this kid in Sweden a few years back, his identity was withheld from the press, but he was reported as having a genetic mutation that left him without *myostatin*, and basically let his body grow twice as much muscle on a pound for pound basis as a normal person. As in...the kid had a *six pack* set of abs, *naturally without exercise* at the age of eight.

So...well, assuming you can *back up* what you say, maybe you might qualify.....if you don't get stuck at that height and weight of course, because there *are* bigger adults out there who are stronger than you are. Including one power-lifter who just this year became the first Human Ever to Bench Press 1,000 pounds.

Just saying...have a good one, and don't work out too hard, it might stunt your growth. ^_^

Anyone who doesn't feel that, shouldn't be adopting. If people go into an adoption as if they will be different, then there will be problems. I'm not saying that there won't be differences throughout the years that will need to be addressed. However, the same could be said for a bi-racial child, or child with disability, or a gifted child, etc. Just because there might be a difference in some area of their life from other children, including their siblings, doesn't mean they don't feel like your own. And Dory, I know exactly what you are talking about, when you say that you didn't know if it was normal to feel the love and bond between my children and myself SO intensely, even though mine are adopted :)

I think somebody has played a joke on you and sold you wieghts that are based on ounces not pounds-or let the sand out or undid cables or something?

Either that or you are a qualified enough liar to run for Congress!

well, can you reach 20,000 ft?

still, that is very strong. benching 350lb for a 140lb kid is one heck of a lot of weight compared to the guys i know

Well, your EGO certainly is...

I bench press 440... on a gym-quality, stacked-plate, selectorized benchpress machine. I figure that translates to about 300 in free weights. So, which is it for you? Free weights, or machine weight?

no. pulling a car or truck with rings hooked on your chest is considered superhuman. make sure you go to your doc and check out your muscles. you wouldn't want one to tear while trying to be superhuman.
