History is only doomed to repeat itself if the future forgets all that has happened.
Need I remind you the similarities of Hitler and Saddam ?? They both started with killing the people of there own country, with twisted ideas and fanatic views about certain religious cultures that didnt match there own.I fear to say that had we as the US not stepped in Saddam would had probably gotten to HIlters staus eventually.

Like the old saying goes absolute power corrupts absolutely !

Yes, there will be more. Greed and power promotes this kind of behavior. Look at Venezuela and North Korea right now.
But I have to agree with Edward - there will be a dictator like we've never known when the anti-christ comes on the scene. He will fool many in the 3 1/2 years of "good" he brings. If you're a Christian, this shouldn't worry you though.
Just stay on top of current events.

Mahmoud Ahmadinejad and Kim Jong Il come to mind. Ahmadinejad, the current ruler of Iran, seems to have an end-of-days scenario in mind, featuring the return of the Twelfth Imam. Kim, long-time dictator in North Korea, makes nuclear weapons while his people starve. We are not out of the woods yet.

Will there? There already are - Mugabe, al-Bashir, Shwe, Karimov..., how many more do you need? Someone keeps a list of the 20 most ruthless dictators in the World, I wish I could remember which magazine does it.

Sadly, history is always doomed to repeat.

Sad but most certaintly likely. People no matter how good they once were seem to change in power. Its like the power goes to their head and they forget who they once were and where they came from, promises get broken and before you know it, innocent blood is shed. As long as human beings rule the earth, people like Saddam and Hitler will co-exist.

Hitler was fascist and danger to world peace. Saddam has to rule his country with hostile elements. The best course was to condone the conspirators who tried to kill him and obtain the goodwill of the people. Iraq has history of blood shed of rulers. We can win the heart of people through love and respect. The people of Iraq have to fight against hate.

Hi!
There will always be such men, as has been since the beginning of time.
When one goes down, another arises.
And don't forget, Osama Bin Laden is still "out there" somewhere.

there will always be more. there will always be people who strive for power. It might sound cliche but with power comes responsibility and alot of people cant handle it and they strive for more and more. So wherever theres power there will be lust. There will be hitlers and saddams forever.
