Black skinny-fit jeans,classic white shirt,leopard print blazer and black patent platform pumps( that's what I'll be wearing).Dress up your jeans with a sexy top,and platforms.

why do you have to wear little black dresses to every special occasion? i don't get it what's the big deal with them? yes, they are sexy, cuz they're black, but still. i would wear a really cute skirt, (not jean skirt) and maybe a cute halter or tank top. don't wear a dress. you'll be uncomfortable, a dress is too dressy for a new year's eve party in my opinion. but definetly a skirt is not too much and a halter or tank top. have fun counting down to the new year!!:)

a nice flowy top and some black dress pants, either a flowy pair or a cigarette leg and some open toe heels...nice pedi is in order...
my friend is wearing an asian inspired dress over some dark wash jeans and boots...
another friend is wearing a long black skirt and a man's vintage (80's) Bill Blass tux shirt and black pearls, with some killer Christian Louboutin heels

You can wear any color of dress really. I think too many ladies wear black. If you don't have an evening dress, you can wear a skirt and sweater. Best of luck to you!! Pants and a blouse looks nice too!

too me, i never wear a black dress..you should be celebrating the new year!!! if you have something bright or daring..wear that..i usually wear a red dress..that way you stand out at the party and get noticed..also, you dont have to wear a dress, you can wear a nice pantsuit too..any color is good..

Anything that fits your style. It doesn't always have to be black. Could even be a cute top with a mini denim skirt!
