The final option is that "it" - an envelope with a very important (to me) note inside - fell into the trash which has since been delivered to the dump. It has been approximately 2 to 6 weeks since I last saw it. Our house is very messy (ADD) and although I have a vague memory of "putting it someplace safe", I have looked through boxes of stuff, in drawers, books, and piles of papers. I'm sick about losing this, and was wondering if there is some kind of mind game or psychic action I can use to find it here in the house... or determine if its fate was the dump.

Put something of even more value in a similar envelope and take it with you. Go to the store and then, before getting in your car at the store, seriously decide to hide this new envelope. Let go of the old memory. Get serious. Pretend with all of your heart that you MUST hide this envelope where NO ONE can find it. Think about your car, your bank, your post office, your coat, hat, shoes. Go home. Think. Think. Go inside, then and hide the envelope. Usually, the old one is there, too. Now, if the old envelope got shuffled in the debris of your household, you must be a human sieve and filter out every single thing methodically, room by room. Start at the top and work your way down. If it's there, you CAN find it if you sieve.

This won't help you find it but there is a new comforting philosophy that has been widely accepted: It is, if you can't find it, it never existed. For example, since we have not found them, weapons of mass destruction never existed. It's a comforting thought and maybe you should jump on the bandwagon and just accept the envelope never existed.

Since the house is messy, clean the house, then you'll probably find the envelope too.

IF YOU CAN GO ABOUT AND REPLACE WHAT WAS IN THE ENVELOPE, THEN YOU'LL FIND THE FIRST ONE. I TRIED THE PSYCHIC ONCE FOR A LOST BOOK DIDN'T HELP ME AT THAT TIME. GOOD LUCK TO YOU.

As all things lost, when they have been replaced or are no longer needed they will miraculously appear.

By the way I see an envelope in dark places.
