I have a 2001 arctic cat 300. I have took the entire fuel system off and cleaned it, hoses filters and carb. even drained the gas thinkin it may have been bad. for awhile it ran fine. now sometimes when its started it will idle fine then when you start to go, it chokes itself out. and usualy dies. could this be the carb goin bad? or bad?

Sounds like a fuel problem! Might be the carb. Possibly a restriction in the fuel metering circuit of the carb. Like it will flow enough fuel at idle but not enough for high fuel demand situations, such as accelerating.

Believe it or not, check your fuel cap and see if its plugged or replace it.No air going in is creating a vacume.

issue with your float in your carb...clogged jet..assuming single carb??..if not, then there is an issue with both carbs may not be synchcronized...good luck !
