Water retention will cause swelling and tenderness along with the naturally occuring hormones that pave the way for possible conception. It is often normal for your cycle to be a few days late, especially if you have been stressed about anything from relationships to a test at school. You can always get an over the counter pregnancy test that will at least give you a clue as to rather it is cycle related or pregnancy related.

The hormones that your body releases before you begin your period sometimes cause the glands in your breasts to swell. It's only a slight swelling, so it may or may not be visible or noticable to you other than the sensitivity. It is normal and very common.

Yeah, it's normal. It happens to me too. The hormones that your body releases as you're going through your period can cause swelling in your breasts which makes them more sensitive.
