I bought a 100% cotton t-shirt from a store the t-shirt looks like a regular t-shirt,but I am interested why it is anti-bacterial.Is it the way its sewed?, Is it a special cotton that has anti-bacterial qualities. I don't think the company that writes that on the tag will false advertise just to get it sold.

I think its a chemical processing used when spinning the cotton and your basically not going to have any other plant fibers in the shirt. Some people are allergic to some of the plants that could be mistaken for cotton and mixed in and by proving its antibacterical its basicallyl saying they wont have a reaction to the content.
