I'm pro choice.. I believe it is the woman's choice to decide whether or not she wants her body to be used as an incubator. Of course the BEST thing would have been not to have sex and prevented the pregnancy in the first place.
An abortion is NOT violent and does NOT 'rip a baby from the womb' first of all there is no "baby" a baby is a BORN human being a pregnancy/fetus is NOT a baby because it is not BORN. Murder is something done to a BORN human being an abortion is not murder because it is not committed against a BORN human being. And it has been proven that the fetus does NOT feel pain of abortion...goodness someone hasn't learned much over the past 20 years about abortion have they? An abortion can be the difference of life and death for the host (female) carrying the pregnancy. I wonder how many pro lifers would condone forcing a woman with a couple of kids at home to gestate a pregnancy to term knowing she would die giving birth leaving her children motherless? Talk about MURDER, forcing a pregnancy to term kills a mother and destroys a family. I have SEEN an abortion (my own) up close and personal. To those who think that quoting a pro life website is knowledge..you're only being parrots and lemmings. Do some research, other than pro life sites that use doctored photos of animals and post them as aborted human fetuses for sensationalism.

I have an unusual opinion on this one. Technically, I have always considered myself pro-life. But I believe that in the end it is the womans choice. I think there should be a limit on how late in a pregnancy it can be performed, and I don't agree with what they call "partial birth abortion"

I know it sounds like I'm contradicting myself but I guess you could say that I am against it personally, but if a woman chooses to have one, I respect that decision and her reason for doing it.

At one time I actually told myself that I would get an abortion if I became preg again, but thank God I didnt and got my tubes tied instead. My reason was that I had severe post partum depression with both kids, I was abusive with my first, and spent 4 days in the mental ward when my second one was 2 1/2 months old because I wanted to kill myself. If I had gotten preg again, who knows what would have happened to myself or my children. That's why in that rare circumstance, against my own beliefs, I would have had an abortion. Because much of that is hormonal, adoption would not have done much good as I would still go through all the ups and downs.

I just thank the Good Lord I never had to actually face that situation.

It's no one else's business, but between the mother and if there is a father, the father. Now, I don't believe that abortions should be allowed after the first term. That is just cruel because the baby has already been completely developed. At least if a woman is going to do it, do it when there are no legs and arms formed. It should be illegal to have an abortion after the first term, but before that, it should be up to the woman and the man (if he is still around). It also depends on the circumstances.....what if the woman was raped. She should have every choice to chose. Yes, it is a life, but other people should stop telling others what choices to make. People need to butt out.

Me, personally, i do not believe in em. Everyone has thier own opinions on it tho. Prolly more against it then for it. But no matter what we think its always the choice of the person getting it. I have known a few ppl that have gotten em. My mother including as being one of those. Tho i thought the excuse for it was not an excuse at all but either way there is nothing i can do about it. The ppl who REALLY irritate me are the ones who have had like Multiple abortions!! Its one thing to have one. But come on! If your not ready to have a child then maybe these girls need to seriously look at keeping their legs crossed or look into some type of birth control (pull out method is not one of those!!!) Abortions do not come cheap. Just out here in WI they are around $500-$750 where do these kids get the money for it!

Abortion is not right. If you can stupidly have unprotected sex, then either give baby up for adoption or keep it. Its not right!

I do not think you should have an abortion unless your life or baby's life is in danger. I feel if you wanna lay down and have sex and make a baby then either give it up for adoption or keep it. I think abortion is killing someone that didnt ask to come into this world. The baby cant help his or her parents were not being careful. So why kill it?!

After having a child, I don't understand why anyone would chose that route, BUT my life and what I deal with is so different from anyone else's, and I'm no better than anyone else, so I can't judge.

I do wish though, and I don't know if this is done, that women completely understand what stage of development their fetus is in before they abort the child. If they knew that their fetus had a brain stem, beginning of a brain, skull and heart ( which it does at 2 weeks) would they still abort?

Abortion is violently ripping an unborn baby limb from limb out of its mothers womb. Regardless of what people think, many of the babies that have been killed FEEL all the pain. So what if you are not ready for a baby?? Many people out there are ready but they cannot have one. They are heart broken and would do anything for a baby, why not let them raise yours? My godson was born at 24 weeks (still allowed to abort at this age) and let me tell you he was a person!! he had all of his parts, he was alive. Yes abortion is murder and it is disgusting to think that someone would kill their own baby.

I don't believe in it. Who has the right to decide that life doesn't start before birth? Isn't it murder to take a life and abortion is just that, taking a life. There are plenty of families out there who want to adopt especially babies, so honestly there is no need for abortion. To me it's just a selfish act.

I do not understand why it is so important in the world that people have the right to kill off their offspring, and in such a horrible way. The argument is something I will never understand I guess. A person is a person not matter how small. I think it should be illegal and people should be able to control themselves so they do not pregnant when they are not ready. Why should a helpless baby be torn limb by limb because his or her parents were not "ready" for the responsibility, but sure was ready to have sex! And further more I feel sorry for the poor women who have to use their bodies as the battlefield as such a horrible crime. I feel for anybody who has to go through such a thing.
