How do you look at couples of different races?

when people see a white person with a black person or an asian with a white person, they stare? why?

People are sometimes not socialized to this in SLC a lot of people stare at blacks cause there's not many with white wife's with black husbands. My church just happens to have a lot of bi racial ,so this is a norm for us so we don't stare, there just people just like you and me friendly, All of us created in Gods image .
When I was growing up in a very white neighborhood I was 5 before I met my first Black person I looked up at this beautiful women in line waiting to check out and I said to my mom OHHH Mom she so beautiful I didn't know God made people like flowers all different colors. My mom agreed yes she was beautiful,the lady smiled and said thanks.
God looks like a person has a body talks about this in Moses how he had hands a back side and feet.
Now If I saw God I would would stare.would freek me out.

More than likely they stare because they are ignorant and don't approve of interracial dating- there are actually quite a few religious people around who are taught that interracial dating is sinful; of course, it could simply be an attractive, interesting looking couple, which may also warrant positive stares. The day the staring ceases and interracial dating is no longer an oddity is the day an asteroid or comet the size of Siberia will strike the earth at about 36 miles per second and obliterate all of us, along with racism, bigotry, and all the other nasty human trait we have managed to keep alive all this time.

I believe it's because of society, history and racial prejudice. I look
at mixed couples and I honestly try my best not to stare. I am
just so interested in seeing what each of them look like and how they get along. I think it's great that you can meet someone from a different race and actually fall for one another ignoring the rest of the world's BS. I think it takes alot of courage. I happen to have a love for all people and I say this saying that I've dated white men, latinos and even an asian in Jr. High. - What can I say I LOVE men =)
If you're good to me and we get along, and you've got some good
looks too, it's all good. Life is too short for hatred.

In this country, we largely focus on the white-black couples, perhaps because of the loaded history.

However, there are many different couplings of different ethnicities, e.g,.
Black and Latin
Asian and Latin
Hawaiian and White
Black and Indian (Native Americans)

In 2006, it's much more common than say 1966.

I really don't stare,I don't think it's as big a deal as it used to be.Maybe people who don't grow up around different races might stare.

It only upsets me when a Black guy is with a big butted white woman. We are trying desperately to breed that trait out and they go and select for that trait like it is a good thing. What's wrong with our flat butted white chicks, they are hot too and your children would have smaller butts too, which makes us hot(once they grow up)under the collar.

I look at them as I look at any other couple. And that look is with either discust or the same look you would give a cute puppy or kitten. The reason that people stare is because they aren't use to it and they decide to not ignore it.

people stare because most people haven't accepted the fact that interracial dating is out there personally i don't believe it is right and i would never date outside my race but my opinion is just one of millions. When white ppl stare its because we are automatically labeled as a racist whether we are or not. I stare at them because white women(when they date a thug) talks about white men putting them down and talking crazy so i stare at them because they are freaking retards that don't have any self respect. other them those types of ppl i don't stare I'm just like what ever that means more white men to chose from lol

I don't know why, because I'm not that person.
