Well, to start with, don't say, 'honey, we need to talk' - that'll stop up the old earholes immediately! Just sit down beside him and ask him if he likes things as they are... and tell him why you don't. And what needs to change, or you're gone. Who cares if he gets pissy? He'll get over it. Or not. If you've had enough of his crap, why worry if he's a little unhappy about your talk? Just have it.

tell him straight out. if you screw around and delay, then you will eventually put it off.
