You are you - get what you want and don't worry about anyone else. I know it is tough at your age but this is a phone! If it does what you want, then get it. BTW - Flip phones are more likely to break then any other style phone so if the style is holding you back, don't let it.
My son's (15) cell was not working correctly for close to 1/2 a year (flip). His dad did this so I stay out of it. His dad wouldn't replace it until this year. It was a flip style.
I've never really looked at a cell phone for an age group. lol

Well i personally think that its not a big deal to what age you are to have a phone because like my whole family has like the high tech phones and trust me the functions matter the most... if you only need a phone for that then why not.. like my mom has like a razr phone with many qualities except the fact she only uses it to call... so ya i personally before that i had a non flip phone and i liked it ... personally dont like flip phones as much but again if you like the phone then no one can criticize it because its yours... as long as it serves the purpose for you its a good phone

Well, for Christmas my sister and I both got Razrs. My sister is 11. So it does look kind of wierd seeing an 11 year old with a razr. But, I mean, who cares? Don't let people judge you by your phone! It has nothing to do with that! And if that phone makes you happy you go right on ahead and get it!

No, a phone that's practical and suit your lifestyle is my criteria. I don't believe in paying for any "extras" which I NEVER use nor need. The phone used to be a status symbol here, but it's less apparent now.

NO! Who cares? I would personally get a flip phone. My daughter is 11 and she has a razr.
