HOW DO I know when Kyorge and Groundon are fighting?

I'm assuming that you're playing Pokémon emerald.

They will begin to fight as soon as Kyogre has been awakened. You get the Magma emblem at the top of Mt. Pyre. With that, you can entre Team Magma's base in int pathway that leads down from Mt. Chimney. Groudon will be at the end and will be awakened by Maxie before you fight him.

Kyogre is in an underwater cavern on route 128. You'll battle Archie before that thing awakens though. Once both of them are awake, head to Sootopolis. You should see very irregular weather along the way. This is because, when you get to Sootopolis, the two titans will be fighting.

Now to stop them. Head to the cave of origin to meet up with Wallice. He willl ask you about the whereabouts of a pokémon called Rayquaza. You rival will have told you where it is earlier by phone. Head to the sky pillar and climb it's dizzy heights. You'll need an acro bike to climb it. Once you see Rayquaza, it will fly off. Head back to sootopolis and you'll see a cool cutscene where Rayquaza stops the fighting.

You can capture the three pokémon once you've beaten the elite four.

I think somewhere in the middle of the game, there is a scene where you see Kyogre and Groundon fighting. It's really cool. If you already finished that part of the game, then I don't know. I don't think they fight again after that, although they might be fighting in your party once you have them both!!! >.<

You will see them fight over the town of sootopolis, you will know if you have already seen this or not.... it is almost like a mini movie.
