There are many young American women who marry very rich old American men. Similarly, many middle class American men are very rich when compared to the standard of living in the woman's home country. So it is the same thing. I think some love their spouse and some do not. Same as all marriages.

Well somtimes people marry for strange reasons nobody can't say a person dosen't love another.The majority of the time foreigners are marring becausethey want to stay in the country but the government is catching on to the trick and making them go through some changes which is more than right.I bet we couln't go over to there country and marry sombody..Without being RICH or somthing...

Because old American men can't get past their happy parts. They have these fantasies that these young women love them and they fall for that crap all the time.
Then the young woman just waits until he keels over and she has all him money, home etc and then she can then find a nice young stud.

Marriage is a contractual agreement. Love cannot legally be, in part or whole, the reason for the enforcement of any contractual agreement. Love is relative to the perception of the individual persons understanding of its meaning.

can i reverse the question? old western men prefer to marry foreign young women because:foreign women (e.i.Asian) are caring,polite,honest,hospitable,homebody,sweet and have a good personality that's one of their assets.and to tell you most Filipino women are degree holder.(some are nurses,teachers etc.) .Asian women can easily adopt themselves to their new environment.of course they love them.
some foreign women wants to marry western men for convenience but very rare.Foreign women are lovable.meet someone and you will not regret....

American women are strong intelligent and often smarter than their counterpart.
The weak American men can't handle it, and marry someone who is subservient and who is looking for what they believe is the American lifestyle.

most of them are gold diggers. just look at anna nicole smith. if she loved the old dude then why wud she still be clawing away 4 his money and if she wern't money hungry then why did she sell pictures of her dead son?
im not saying all similar situations r the same its just hard 2 belive that that dont come into the equation
