hi everyone! I am trying to get the title of this movie. Here's the plotline: A young jobless man is traveling across the United States and gets across a small town ( presumably in the West) where he gets a job in an car-shop. He falls in love with a girl that works in the shop while the wife of the owner of the shop falls in love with him. While his romance with the girl develops, the wife of the owner sets up the death of her own husband and blackmails the hero into marrying her, threatening him into uncovering a bank robbery he commited. He eventually stays with her.

It almost sounds like The Postman Always Rings Twice, but I'm not sure. Do you remember anyone that was in it? Go to imdb.com to see if that's the movie you were thinking of.
