How old are you? That has a lot to do with the answer. And have your parents asked you for it and how much did they ask for?

If they need the money give them the most you can give them. If they don't then help out with buying groceries or send them out to dinner (alone) once in a while. They may be happy if you just pay your own lunches, clothing, cell phone, and/or no longer need an allowance. The answer to your question really depends on your parent's financial needs.

Give your parents what you can if they are poor and having a hard time with finances. If your parents are doing well without your help than take what you earn and save it. When you have $2,000.00, open a Roth IRA. If you are 16 now and do as I say, when you are ready to retire when you are about 60 years old, you will have a million dollars. No joke!

What most parents want is time with there kids more than money. My suggestion would be take them out to eat on you and this would be worth much more than any amount of money you give to them. And the place can be anywhere.

For? If they are asking for money then what would be fair is paying half of the bills along with what you eat in grocerys. But you dont make enough money. Ask them? I would say at least $100 to cover expense.

If ur looking to save money and want to keep it with ur parents its up to u to decide. But i dont see why u'd give ur parents money, unless ofcourse they need it . End of the day it'll be good to just tell them that u wanna give them money yet u dont know how much and stuff . Im sure they'll tell u wats best,

It depends. Are they asking for a large sum of money? If your living at home, you could offer to pay the electric or water bills. You could also offer to contribute money towards groceries.

I think offering to give them $50 is fair, and if they are "good" parents, they will save that up and give it back to you when you are ready to move out on your own.
