Verizon in my area, this is because if you go with those cheaper companies -- you'll get what you paid for (lack of coverage and lots of dropped calls).
Verizon is the only company where the cell phone will work inside my house -- other companies like Sprint and I had to go outside to use the cell phone. It sucks as Verizon costs more $$$ -- But it is true its the network!!

Cingular has the best plans and coverage area. I have had Cingular for years and I can go just about anywhere and get service without losing a call. I go to Florida and I never have any problems even with the small towns I go through. I think for the money and service area they are the best.

T mobile = unprofessional workers but lots of minutes the service (signal is not good in alot of places)
Sprint sucks= generally, people who get sprint get it because they dont have social security numbers
Cingular= good customer service, best phone, but they are pricey (the cheapest plan is 39.99 for 450 daytime minutes, and no free nights, just 5000 minutes for nights and weekends). They have rollover minutes that expire after a year. (they acumilate). Cingular to cingular is free.they have walkie talkie (for an extra 4.99 a month) but not compatible with nextel. You have the option of getting early nights which start at 7 for 8.99 a month. They have insurance that covers only the regular phones like the razor and lgs, samsumgs (not the blackjack or treo or blackberry)
Nextel is tied to sprint. They have walkie talkie though
Verizon seems to be the best as to clarity. And their customers seem to be really loyal.
I can go on and on about cell phones, but im tired and i have a headache
ask me later

It completely depends on where you live. One cellular company that works great in a certain area of the country may have terrible of no reception in other parts of the country. I work for a wireless carrier and they all have there up sides and down sides. I would say that if you live in the south your best bet for reception is going to be Alltel or Cingular. If you live on the east coast or up north than I would suggest T-Mobile. As far as prices most carries have the same prices for the one user plans. If you do allot of talking I would NOT suggest Verizon (they claim to have free nights an weekends but continue to rundown your mins during their off peak hours causing you to go over) I would suggest Alltel and take advantage of their MyCircle. Another good choice for heavy talkers would be T-Mobile. If you do any traveling to other countries I would highly suggest Cingular. Their phones are acquit with SIM cards allowing you to use them overseas. Hope this helps.

Verizon Wireless!!! The signal goes up to to about 7-8 bars and the best phone type would be a razr for 1,400 minutes and the price is about 100.00 dollars but it is worth it. (it also depends if you have a family plan which I do or a single line)

I have Cingular. Excellent coverage and signal. My phone works when no one else's does. Good price on the nationwide family plan with rollover minutes. I won't be switching anytime soon.
