If you like sexy Vampire books go for author Ann Rice
A good fairytale by Steven King is Eyes of the Dragon...He wrote it for his daughter I think.

Try the Jeffery Deaver books. The Lincoln Rhyme series is amazing. It starts with the Bone Collector, then the next ones are The Coffen DAncer and The Empty Chair. THey are great crime dramas with a lot of suspence.

- The Corrections: by Frantzen (forget all the hype from his drama with Oprah, this book is a good read.)
- The Rapture of Canaan: by Sheri Reynolds.

For a great horror and yet funny novel read any of Charlaine Harris' books.
