I sleep with the stuffed animal I've had since I was a child. Sometimes I sleep with the book I fell asleep with. I often fall asleep with the t.v remote. hmm I suppose I cannot think of anything else!
The majority of the world sleeps with something, stuffed animal, blankie, ect.

I sleep with a 35 year old redhead. Actually, her entire body is red. Which is not unusual for a five-year-old dachsund. She has slept every night with my wife and me since she was a puppy. We have spoiled her and we have to put up with her cold nose every night. She doesn't know she is adopted. We haven't had the heart to tell her otherwise. I tend to over feed her. She is a stomach with legs. So, there are times when she almost is a stuffed animal.

When I had Broncitis, Pneumonia, and something the docs couldn't identify, I slept cuddling a 1.5 L bottle of water as I immitated Darth Vader's breathing for 3 days straight.

When I was ten I snuck into "The Texas Chainsaw Massacre" with some friends. For a good two months after that I slept with my Louisville Slugger under the pillow.

Not usually, but when I'm in the hospital or anywhere on my own I sleep with a teddy bear I've had since I was six months old. I do take that bear with me whenever I go anywhere overnight as well. I'm really not sure why I still do this, but I do.

I sleep with a note pad by my bed in case I have an important idea I need to write down in the middle of the night.

I don't sleep with anything weird but we have a TV in our room and I usually leave it on when I fall asleep...just for some background noise. I find it comforting. My husband works nights and he doesn't get home until after midnight, so it helps me to fall asleep.

A cat, and about 15 different books that are in various stages of being read occupy the left side of my bed...I don't know if that's unusual, but it's comforting for me.

I sleep with my panda bear and penguin and a teddy bear my husband got me for Valentine's Day two years ago.
I feel so wierd if i sleep without them. They just have to be close to me.
I guess it's for comfort more so than anything else.
