I got a few trinkets and a big bout of depression. (I think I suffer from holiday anxiety). It's just becoming a big, overcommercialized scam to make you spend money.

Nothing much really. My brother in law died unexpectedly a few days before Christmas, so we really didn't celebrate much this year.

Tonight I seen a coworker and she gave me a card from a professor at the college that I work for. We make his books every year for the students. He got it in a little late this year, but we got them done by last Friday.

That was the day of my brother in laws funeral and I didn't go to work. The card was a thank you note with $25.00 cash in it, thanking us for working so hard to get these done for him. That made my day.

So, really the best gift I got was from a man that I barely know and was only doing my job.
