I heard a bridge, I think in the northeast US, where there are supposedly police at both ends to keep traffic moving they will drive your vehicle over the bridge if you are scared

I know they will do that over the Mackinac Bridge in Michigan, but will probably do it over other bridges too.

I have never heard of this.

I know there was a bridge in Buffalo, NY where people were told if their car breakds down not to get out of the car. I know in storms people sometime blew off of the bridge. But there was no police escort there.

It was often closed in windy weather.
