Yes, I've read "GOOSE CHASE" by Patrice Kindl. It's about a kindly old woman who insists on chasing geese each winter, which is her way of welcoming Jesus Christ into the hearts of the geese in time for Christmas, so that they'll be her Christmas Geese during the annual Hoot Night festival in the village each year. Unfortunately, the geese don't really speak English and can't understand any of the bible verses the old woman quotes at them, and none of it seems to have any effect on the geese whatsoever. But that doesn't stop the kindly old saint from trying to save these geese's souls, and that's the whole point of the story. To show that we should all shove our faiths on the ignorant people who surround us, so that perhaps some day we can use them as our own personal props during the Hoot Night festival in our village each year.
