Tony Blair and his lefty bed wetters have ruined the last shreds of national pride that England had, we are seen through out the world as a soft touch and a laughing stock and what is worse most outsiders see Blair as a puppet of the Xenophobic yanks and their lunatic leader

Blair has only carried on a Labour tradition. Wilson started this in the 60's and 70's when he and his government bankrupted the country and had to borrow from the IMF, at the time I did not realise that we also had the Yanks taking a large slice and of course after 1970 the Europeans got in on the act. Give Labour another 4 years and the damage will be irreversible.

It was well on the way down before Mr Blair even got there poor chap! He just carried it on it's merry way. Most of the money seems to be paying for the upkeep of millions of illegal immigrants who enter the country knowing that they will be given everything from TV's and food, to cars. Unbelievable! The old, homeless, orphans and jobless are even less than second class citizens.
Mr Blair had the chance to stop this in his first term, but bottled out when the 'do gooders' started shouting at him. He deserves a good portion of the blame.

What do you mean by "great"?
Great Britain? It's never been great, we still have a monarchy with a democracy, two completely contradictory methods of government.
We have a system where the state remains the same whilst vaguely different and whimsical parties come into "power" and supposedly make changes when all they do is pander to public opinion and act as a figurehead while the real running of the country is left to the state and it's economists.
Tony Blair seemed like a breath of fresh air when all he really was, was the destruction of the old labour and socialist ethic. He is unbelievably conservative and very old Conservative. Christ! look at David Cameroon, the tories are supposed to be the stuffy old middle class and he practically thinks he's gandi and that he founded the CND.
That's another thing, labour used to be against nuclear weapons and now look theyre buying loads of new ones.
wankers. all wankers with no morals or intergrity.

Blair didn't ruin "great" britian, he made it worse than it already was.

If he was actually a socialist and decided to reverse the stupid thatcherist ideals of removing power from the workers and their unions, or decided to make eductaion better and more available rather than easier at lower levels and more expensive at univeristy he may have actually done some good.

The only times our country has ever done anything great was creating the NHS and welfare state, destroying the empire, and supposedly embracing multi-culturalism.

The UK is still a great country and seems to be doing well in spite of recent years' events. I think Tony Blair is a weak man who is acting the part of a great one to find his place in history. But look at the big picture his time as PM is just a blimp on the radar. Britain will be great and greater again.

tony Blair is keeping with tradition, what the first member of Parliament did 600 years ago, and that's keep the rich richer and the poor poorer,as all mp that follow him will do and us sad bastards will still believe the lies, and every 4 years go to the polls, vote in the next scum then spend 4 years complaining, once again.?as we have since we were allowed to vote, remember it was the rich man who said lets give the poor man the vote, it will give him a sense of belonging, and we still believe it today, then after a few more years women, were allowed to be humans too, nice country we live in,now its been taken over by gay /lesbians /and mealy mouthed liberals,so what will be our next transition,Islamic law.

Yes.

There no point in working hard and living a decent honest life these days. You get more out of life in the UK if you are lazy, incompetent or a scrounger. Or even a criminal!
