Download this free program Audiograbber (legal, no spyware at all)

http://www.audiograbber.com-us.net/download.html

Then use the "line-in sampling" feature it has. Make sure you have the "MIC" recording control selected. Do that by clicking the MIXER button when your in the "line-in sampling" part of the program

You can record yourself through a mic for as long as you want. It will save it as a wav file.

If you add a file called LAME to the audiograbber folder, you'll have the option to record your voice as an mp3 file instead of the larger WAV format. http://www-users.york.ac.uk/~raa110/audacity/lame.html

authentic, a chum of mine had a recording studio, we did a duet and it wasn't a million/2 undesirable. i will sing ok, yet engineers in sound studio can do wonders. I won't win any awards, even if if it exchange into relaxing and tiring because of the fact it takes a protracted time to blend music and voices.

If you are serious about singing, invest in buying yourself studio time.
