I've taken and retaken the Nat'l boards - and I always come up a few points short. I only want to retake one more time (duh...), and am wondering what to do about entries vs. assessment test modules. I've also heard it is really uncommon to receive over a 3 on almost anything... Comments? Advice? Your help is appreciated!

I finally passed my third time around. The final time (I'd missed by 1/10th of a point...) I redid one entry and one testing center peice and passed with flying colors... To decide what to do I just looked at how much improvement I needed to make, what areas I scored the lowest in, and how much I was willing to pay to do it... I also got others to read and reread my entry as I wrote it... Some people are experts in the fieled, and some people were more comfortable with NBTS standards... Remember to use wording from the standards in your answers (a lot!!!), stay on task and give them what they want to hear.... I did receive a couple scores above 3... don't think it's impossible at all... start early and remember that it's well worth it once you pass!!!! (Did you know it took JFK three tries to pass his Bar exam?) good luck... (also search online for NBTS support groups... I foudn one on yahoo that helped TONS!!! tecahers organizations also have groups...)
