No. Play whatever character you would enjoy looking at for extended periods of time. I would personally much rather stare at a woman than a man.
I find it wrong if someone assumes the gender of a player based on the gender of a character. Stop looking for internet sex and play the damn video game.
If you think there's something wrong with it, it's because you've been indoctrinated with stifling and antiquated traditional sex roles. Wake up and join us in the 21st century already!

lol I always play as a girl when I can, such as in Wii Sports, Dead or Alive 4, Soul Caliber II, etc. Usually the girls in fighting games prefer speed over power, which is how I like to play fighting games. It usually doesnt have anything to do with a gender of a person as much as it has to do with your style of playing video games.

as a mother of a 12 year old boy, who sometimes plays as a girl in his video games I asked him why he was playing as the girl he said he liked the weapon she was using better then the guys. So hey as long as he isn't dressing up in my clothes I don't care. lol Besides its just a game.

Do you mean as if they're playing the game with a girl avatar, or a guy does the voice for a girl character in a game?
Either way, I don't really care cause it doesn't matter.

Roflmao. No way. ITS A GAME. There are different things different characters can do. Its just that easy a reason. I do not play girls, but I totally understand why some may.
