If you know why it is doing that then can you tell me how i can fix the problem please.

try vacumeing it out there's a fan in the back that cools it down If air isn't moving it will freeze up.

My Xbox and Xbox 360 both have occasional problems with freezing or glitching, as does my boyfriend's PS2. If your system is around a lot of smoke or dust, you might try cleaning it out with one of those little compressed air cans they make for keyboards and such.

It might be the system. You could try to clean the dust out of the fans or clean the eye of the laser.

Might be something wrong with your disk or PS2. Clean up your disk, check if it has scratches or something. And check your PS2. Good luck!

There might be dust inside the machine or the lens has something wrong with it.

probaly something mesed up with lens or cd scratch
