Okay this is a long story, but I have to say it all or I will keep getting wrong answers, that I know arent right. But any advice is wanted. Okay here goes... Well I found out I was pg back in early August, well about August 18th I started bleeding and eventually had a miscarriage, it took docs a month to figure that out. Anway, back in november on Thanksgiving day in fact, I had brown discharge, and I was about due for AF, then I took six pg tests a couple of weeks later, and they all came back positive. But everytime I got a blood test it was negative, and I started my period in mid december andn ow it is the 30th. Well The docws did another blood tests and said I must have had a miscarriage and not known it and they never even saw me at all. And they still havent. Now starting last week, I started getting extremely sharp pians like in my ovary area and in my butt. It comes and goes, but when it is there it is very painful and sharp, it hurts to laugh, pee.Could this be a tubal pg?

Well an ectopic pregnancy would still give you a positive result on a blood test.

However, something is obviously wrong. You should go to a different doctor, that will listen to you and run some tests.

I had two ectopic pregnancies. My first pregnancy test came out negative and then a couple of weeks later it was positive, but my HCG was lower than usual. That was my first sign that something wasn't right. I went all the way until 8 weeks of pregnancy before the doctors realized it was ectopic. I also spotted brown during that pregnancy. The good news is that I became pregnant a year later and I now have a gorgeous little boy who is 10 weeks old. So just hang in there.

first thank you for all the info, most people don't put enough info on here and then get mad when they don't get the right answers. and i am so sorry for your miscarriage. you could have a tubal, but even a tubal prenancy that is still viable would still show a positive blood hcg. if the pain gets any worse i would go to an er they can do an ultrasound and hopefully find the reason for your pain. if not i would find a new dr and get an appt. ASAP after the holiday. good luck to you.

Hard to say, some complain of pain in the tub/ovarian are with a tubal pregnancy. You need to see an OB/GYN Dr. not just a GYN, if your not already. Most GP will not look farther then the "miscarriage". If you did indeed have a miscarriage its quit possible the baby did not fully abort, causing an infection. An infection of this type can lead to in-fertilization. You need to consult your OB/GYN about a possible D&C. This is a painless(for the most part) procedur, all they do is scrapr out your uterus leving it clean and healthy. You most likely will be given an antibiotic as well. But one thing is for sure you need to address this as quickly as posible. If you want a baby you may need to stay off your feet for the first few monthes, some women spend the entire 9 months in bed, but it's well worth it...Good Luck hun :)

When you get pregnant, and miscarry, it takes a couple weeks for the test that you take to come out neg. Your hormones are still wacky.. As far as the brown discharge...I would say that you need a D&C. AKA, they clean you out. I would go to the OB GYN and see if they can make sure that you dont have an eptopic preg OR that you dont have a cyst or a tumor growing on one of your female organs that causes you to miscarry. I would get this done ASAP. Good Luck!

i hate to say this but the pain in your butt and when you pee is a ovarin cyst. i had one when i was 16 i am 19 now but i remember it like it was yeasterday becuase the pain was so bad. i just came off of my period and my boyfriend now husband and i were having sex yes i know very young and after sex it got this horrible pain in my right side in my abdomin i didnt think anything of it i just thought i had to go poop or something. at about 6 in the morning i could take it anymore i was crying when i went pee and tried to even poop it was the worst pain i have ever felt in my life. and before all of this i had what you were experience till it finally hit me hard. they thought it was my appendix but i knew it wasnt. they rushed me into surgery and when they got in there they had noticed a golf ball size cyst on my overy that had burst and the reson i had the pain before was becuase it was leaking. i know the feeling and sometimes after sex i will get the pain back again and then it slowly goes away. put a heating pad on it as well that sometimes helps me when i get it. and its hurting when i pee and hurts when i poop. are you experiencing a pain in your belly button as well. i sure did. I was on birth control to surpress my overies so they didnt ovulate becuase every woman gets a cyst when they ovulate they just dont know it becuase they go down. well in your case and in mine it kept growing and that is what happened. i didnt mean to scare you with this but its just what happened to me. once i seeen that you said it hurts to pee. if you have any more ? just let me know on my post i just posted and i would be glad to talk to you more about it.

Go to a different doctor now. Go see a specialist if you can. My best friend came within an hour of dying from a tubular.

You need to make an appointment with an OBGYN. They can examine you or even do an ultrasound and bloodwork.

I think you should make an appt with your doctor and explain everything that is going on. Obviously, something isn't right.
