The Milk Snake mimics the appearance of its poisonous cousin, the Coral Snake. Also some have suggested similar things about moths looking like owls as well. The Mimic octopus can change appearance to look like sea snakes or lionfish.

The scarlet king snake looks like a coral snake. The Monarch butterfly resembles the Viceroy butterfly, a more unpalatable species, or in other words, not very tasty. The false cobra resembles an Indian cobra which is venomous, so predators think the nonvenomous false cobra is too dangerous to attack. The eastern hognosed snake resembles a venomous snake.

While most mimic similar animals (a lot of flies and beetles pretend to be bees, butterflies mimic poisonous butterflies, snakes mimic poisonous snakes), a lot of moths have large eyespots to pretend they're owls. There are caterpillars that look like snakes, tree limbs, bird droppings, what have you). Young cheetah cubs may look like honey badgers. Marine flatworms and sea slugs look alike (both are poisonous--Mullerian mimicry). There's a whole group of spiders called ant-mimics. But maybe you're just talking about temporary looks?
