Yes, I have felt like that. Like I've stated in one of your previous questions, I'm an incredibly antisocial person and because of that I can't be myself when I'm out, in front of all those curious stares. So I feel like I'm always hiding behind this thin veil. People often misunderstand me and don't really know me, that's why when I look at them I feel as if I can analyze them without being seen.
It's like sitting in a tower and looking at them. They only see the tower, but they don't see me. But do you realize what would happen if I'd suddenly decide to how myself? I would fall from that tower.

Every now and then I realize I'm looking out through my eyes. Ever done that? It's a very weird experience. And it's a bit like what you're describing.

Yeah, I have actually feel that way a lot. Or if someone is talking about you RIGHT there, and they don't even care that you can here.
