I haven't watched all of season one, only the 1st 4 epsiodes, but i asked this question b4 and someone said that it was in the 1st episode that they had 2 different dads. however, i dont remember that. Can someone plz help?

Lincoln and Michael have different last names because their dad left, michael uses his mothers maiden name while lincoln uses her married name.

I believe it has to do with the fact that when their father wasn't around as much with Michael. But they have the same dad.

because michael was born after his dad left he was given his moms last name. and lincoln has their fathers last name

i have watched it all the way through and it did not say why and no they do not have diffrent dads whoever told u that lied
