Does anyone else here believe the saddam hussein execution might have been faked?

Is there any actual evidence that he was killed and the gov. didnt just fake it and send him to some remote mountains?

Absolutely...although they probably really killed him. All you see is Saddam disappear through a trap door into blackness, and then about 15-20 sec later you see what appears to be Saddam dead. Plenty of time for a switch. Why not hang him where you can actually see the whole thing? Who were the men surrounding him? Why the masks? The judge who ordered his death didn't wear a mask. Like I said, probably killed him, but the way in which this execution was carried out and videotaped is highly suspicious. DNA won't prove anything since they can lie and say the DNA matched!

Even a video of a complete execution could be faked, but he had a lot of enemies that wanted him to die. The current iraqi administration seems to be 100% opposed to Sadam group, I think they really wanted to kill him and they did it. Of course, you can think of a sophistaced under the table agreement among the concerning parties, but I honestly dont think so, if you review the recent history, murder, execution, have been very common, inside the same party or between different parties

There is always the possibility. He might still know things the U.S. government wants, and could have made a deal. Fake his death, give him a ticket to ride, and he'll provide the U.S. with whatever information he has.

Yes, that's what I believed at first.There is supposed to be a video of his execution.I saw an article on the internet about it.I was trying to get on it but still can't seem to find it on the internet.Only time will tell.

its the first thing that went through my mind when i heard it. especially with all the "classified documents" and little white lies we've seen as a society lately. i wont beleive it unless i see it. and cnn is planning to actually air a version of the execution, thats what was said yesterday anyway, with a disclaimer of course.
