We die because our cells are programmed to replicate a certain number of times in a lifetime, and then it is game over. You've heard, I'm sure, that skin cells, tissue cells and so on, renew themselves on a regular basis? Well, this can only go on for so long, no matter what we do to prolong our lives. Once the cells have reached their maximum renewal turnovers, that's it for everyone! Presently, we can renew ourselves approximately 125 times in a lifetime. Hence, a human can live to be 125 years of age, but after that, it would take a miracle or further advancement in our understanding of the aging process and how to extend our lifespans. But this is our limit at this point in time!

Why do humans die?
Good question.
Like all things and products, humans have a biological clock as well. At the ends of our chromosomes, there are regions called telomeres. These are our biological clocks. They are found on every single human body cell, from heart cell to brain cells. Every time a cell divides, it loses a piece of the telomere. Thus, when it's gone, the cell cannot divide anymore, which leads to death.
Let's say a heart cell can divide for approx. 30 times. A heart has divided 10 times. If you remove it and freeze it for a couple of years and then unfreeze it, it'll divide 20 more times and then divide no longer.
Another example is Dolly, the cloned sheep. The DNA was taken from the udder of a mature sheep. It had already divided half its lifetime cycle. Although the Dolly was only 6 years old, and still had 6 more years ahead, the DNA in Dolly was already 12 years old and could divide no further.
So there we go...
Telomeres..Biological Clocks..
Why Humans Die :)

The simple answer is that we die because we were born.
Our body is a marvelous machine but there are many parts that must funtion perfectly for it to survive.
Most people die from accidents,deasises,wars..etc.
The few that live long and healty die of plain exaustion, the body just cant' replace the worn out cells.

This is where science ends, and religion and philosophy begin...
Scientifically speaking, humans die because their system either suffer an attack from injury or illness from which they are unable to recover, or from the failure of a vital body organ.

read up on this: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Senescence for a good answer from biology.
some other answers, maybe?
1. if we live forever, one day the earth's environment might be different from today's and we won't be able to breathe or it might be too hot or any number of environmental dangers could kill you.
2. you could live forever, if every mutation that ever occurs in your body acts to increase your ability to survive in your environment (statistically, a very funny joke).

we do die because, at that time, all the functioning in our body comes to rest.At a certain age, we suffer from some diseases, which leads to weaken the functioning of our bodily systems. so, various organs find difficulty to function and even the cells are damaged at the time of death.
