I wish I knew. That is something that I cannot understand either.
For some reason, in spite of being supposedly criticized, it is still admired by many people in the USA, even if it is the symbol of everything against the USA and one of its greatest enemies . The human beings are not logical.
To ellerth morrow: an idiot is something that it isn't. It may be the summary of all evils, but not an idiot. Had it been, it would had not lasted for almost 50 years, conquered so many followers and countries, survived so many problems, like the Peru embassy.
In Cuba we said that the idiots were those that followed it and supported it.
If Gorbachov had not eliminated the comunism, the USA would have by now the comunists practically at the borders, following fidel's orders

we need to hang him too

Or maybe we need give him poison ?
Or may he die from canser!!!
We are for the democracy and we fight for the good of all people. May he die before the New Year!
Amen

But if seriously it looks like the world is going to hell. Are you all sick??????? Why do love killing? Why do blame all except themselves? All our history is blood blood bloody Ther is no country in the world that did not kill their own people. We are all guilty. We need to ask God forgive us all or we all will perish from the face of earth

He's a brutal dictator. I'm particularly offended that the mayor of London (England) intends to celebrate the fiftieth anniversary of his revolution. See cite, below.

The fact that so many risk their lives to get out from under his regime should be all you need to figure out that he isn't the most liked leader.
