I don't know the difference between any of these. Will the end product after recording be the same in all of these, or different in quality?

If you already have a DVD recorder, the chances are it will need either DVD+R or DVD-R and you must use the right type. If you a considering a DVD recorder, buy on price and features and disregard whether it is +R or -R, it makes no difference any more. They all will record on the re-writeable versions of those formats (+RW or -RW). Again, you have to get the medium to match your recorder (+ or -). Use "RW' discs if you want to re-use the media, but be warned that the RW discs are sometimes a problem for standard DVD players to read. Some computer DVD writers will accept all four types of media.

Neither exist. A DVD is an optical storage device that could carry approximately 6 situations extra tips than a CD. A CD-R or DVD-R would be written to. A CD-RW or DVD-RW could have the documents rewritten (i.e. replaced). it is not a one write disc.

You will need to know if your DVD Drive can play and record all of those types. some are + some are - and some are +/-

Other than that, it's your choice.
