I am looking to buy a new amp, I want a fender amp, but I can't decide on which one, I have narrowed it down between a Fender Cyber Twin SE or the Fender Twin Reverb

I play mostly Alternative rock and blues, can anyone help me on this?

thats a tough one. the cyber twin can do so much. the twin reverb has so much tube tone. the twin reverb is a really really loud guitar amp that cuts through any mix and can make your ears bleed. the cyber is a good amp too, not as loud and the toen suffers from not having the tubes. i dont care what anyone says real tubes, not symulation, is the way to go with a guitar amp. but then again it depends on what effects if any you use. if you dont use any, go with the twin reverb. i like those more anyway.

If you like blues, then you'll want that "fat" tube sound to go with your Strat. The Twin Reverb has been around for ages, and is a pretty good one as far as the tubes it uses.

I've used Fender amps in the past, but I personally prefer Peavey Amps. I have a Peavey Classic that uses 6L6gc tubes, and it plays the blues thru my JBL K-120's like the blues were meant to be played- rich and warm tones with a "fat" sound.

I agree with the poster above me. Go to the music store and give each one about a 10-20 minute run with a decent Strat. I bet you'll prefer the Twin reverb. Get the cabinets with at least 2-12" speakers inside.

Good luck and keep on strummin'

i think of its strange through fact guitar cabs are oftentimes 12 inch and bass cabs are ten inch.. announcing that 10 inches are made for bass and bigger audio gadget cant cope with bass is amazingly ridiculous.. the reason bass amps use 10 inch audio gadget is to tighten up the bass.. a 12 inch speaker would be greater boomy so its unquestionably greater appropriate for bass.. it purely wont sound as tight as a 10 inch yet having stated which you would be able to say a 10 inch isnt somewhat bassy adequate.. additionally, vehicle audio gadget are tiny and those little 20w audio gadget are fed each and every of the same bass that your 1100 watt sub is.. a speaker is made to deal with in spite of frequencies it may reproduce.. this is a threat to blow a speaker in case you blast it very loud and feed too a lot benefit and tension the speaker too stressful.. yet which will purely blow the paper cone.. additionally, a guitar is barely one octave above a bass and in case you drop music your guitar very low to declare perchance A then you definitely are in reality enjoying the 2nd lowest string of a 4 string bass.. granted bass strings are better and grant greater capacity.. its all approximately how stressful you're applying the speaker and how loud you're blasting it.. yet all people could be waiting to play bass by way of any speaker.

don't buy anything over the internet with out trying them out. try them both out and if you can't decide buy the cheaper one and then use the extra mpney and just get some pedals to make it sound like you want.
