Does anyone know of a good website on how to melt silver and make jewelry out of it.?

Casting is not something you can do from website directions. You can find a brief overview of it in The Complete Metalsmith by Tim McCreight. I believe he also has a book about casting. Still, I advise taking a class in it at a nearby university/art school, because it is extremely easy to injure yourself if you don't know what you're doing--heck, even if you do. Please don't try it without some training--silver melts at over 1700 degrees Fahrenheit and you will be moving it through the air, if only to pour it into your mold.
