I'm totally serious about this question! Did you ever wonder if God still or ever did find something just irrisistably funny and just laugh?

Do you laugh? You were created in his image. And that's not personifying God. He immortalized us by giving us His Spirit.
God has and displays other emotions. The bible says that God can be angry 1 Kings 11:9. Jonah 3:10 says that God 'repented' or felt sorry or remorse. God can also be jealous according to Ezekiel 36:4-6. Deuteronomy 30:8-10 says that the Lord will rejoice. There are passages that declare God will laugh at sinners, but that's not the kind of laughing you seek.
Jesus shows a good sense of humor in Matthew 23 in regards to the Pharisees with remarks like they strain a gnats while swallowing a camel.
I look at nature, especially animals and very small children and I can't see how He wouldn't laugh. However, I believe that He takes our actions more seriously and it's more likely that we bring Him tears.

Of course, whenever someone on earth does something silly or when a murderer is on the run and the cops are tring to find him God laughs because He knows whats in store for that muderer.God also puts on a big smile when He sees His people living good with one anther here on earth.

Laughing has to do with incongruity in mental perceptions. It is a nervous behavior intended to relieve stress. I would doubt that a God would be dealing with any such perception issues nor would there be a need for such an emotional release. Maybe the belief that God would have a sense of humor comes from mistakenly trying to create God in the image of humans.

I believe God laughs all the time. I base this on two saints i know who laughed all the time. The closer i feel to God the more inner peace or bliss i enjoy. Bliss in motion is JOY. God doesn't need a reason, everything stirs bliss into joyous laughter.

He has an indulgent smile like the one you see in a mothers face.He knows his children very well.To those who seek his counsel he gives good advise and those who spurn his teachings suffer but god knows that they are his children whatever they may be so keeps smiling waiting for the prodigal to return

driving back from Houston I definitely think that God has a sense of humor and sometimes just laughs. we ran over 5 skunks on the way up here! and every time we did it IT stunk the whole car up.I assure that when God created the skunk he was laughing! of course if you really think about it! We were created in HIS image so I am guessing if we laugh its because he does.
