My first impulse was to say, don't make any. However, if you're really sincere about keeping them, don't set your expectations too high. New Year's resolutions are a nice thought, but they are usually short-lived and doomed from the start. One way you could do it is to put a dollar in a jar every time you break the resolution. When you start running out of money real fast, you might be able to keep your promises to yourself. Motivation is also a good factor. If you really need to lose weight, stop smoking, or other self-improvements, it helps if that's what you really want to do and can set goals for yourself. I wish you the very best of luck. I've never been able to keep mine past January 2nd. lol!

One day at a time. And don't make it too difficult.

I made one one year. No McDonalds. I did great for about eleven months. I didn't have it once. But then they brought back the McRib!

If you make one just stick to it one day at a time.
