He's not. And I've noticed that since you conservatives have worn out the "clinton got a bj" thing, you've now moved on to Carter. Who's next, Kennedy?

I think that calling him an anti-semite is an oversimplification of the issue. Not all people that point out the shortcomings of a nations policy are anti-American or anti-semite or anti anything other than pointing out where the thorny problems to these emotionally charged issues exist.
To those who wish to blast Jimmy Carter let me remind them that he won a Nobel Prize for his actions to promote Middle East peace so it is a subject that he knows more than some who are posting their answer to this question.
By the way I truly believe that to point out the shortcomings of an Israeli political policy is not in and of itself an anti-semitic action.
Those who follow their leaders in lock step no matter what they do are not patriots but rather are behaving more like neo-Fascists unworthy of the freedom that so many have died to provide us with here in the good ole US of A.

No one may know the reasons why, but it is no longer a secret, especially concerning his speeches made right as David Duke was speaking at the "Holocaust Denial" conference in Iran and his new book which loves to blame the Jews for every problem in the world. Carter has exposed himself for the anti-Semite he really is

Good question. He claims to be a devout Christian & maybe he is. If so he probably accepts a supercesionist rather than a dispensationalist theology. In other words, he thinks that with the advent of Christianity, God cancelled His covenent with the Jews. That's my guess, but it's an educated guess.

information Flash! many of the human beings in Israel are Europeans, and there is not something Semitic about them. Palestians are descendants of Abraham, yet white Jews are literally not descendants of Abraham. The White Jews are descendants of Khazars who switched over to Judaism in 860 A.D.

Based on living through his policies in Miami, and his stall on the Iran Hostage situation, I think APPEASER is more accurate. Being a nice guy only goes so far, you have to make a stand against your enemies if you want to properly serve your country. His most recent work is just an extension of looking too far into the other side - at the expense of our interests as usual.

I believe he is more of an example of someone who wants to take the easy way out, one who foolishly believes that one might be able to placate the terrorists. Just another who wants to squinch his eyes shut and wish the bad men in turbans away.

Given the title of his new book which is blatantly anti-Israelie it definitely attests to that implication.
